Access
We will do our very best to ensure that availability of the website will be uninterrupted but, due to the nature of the Internet, this cannot be guaranteed. Sometimes your access to the website may be suspended or restricted to allow us to carry out repairs, maintenance, or upgrades. We will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such action.

Purchasing from this website
By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details onto couriers and other subcontractors).

We will not use your details other than stated in our privacy policy.

Once we have placed your order you will be sent an email copy of your order, this is to confirm your order details - this does not mean we have checked and verified your order.
If we decline your order you will be notified by email.

If there is some information that we require to complete your order we will try to contact you by email a maximum of three times, if we do not recieve a reply or the email is returned undelivered then the order will automatically be cancelled and no further action will be taken on our part.

If ordered before 3pm GMT we will try to proccess your order the same working day. In most cases if we are unable to dispatch a product to you within 7 working day of your order, we will email you with delivery details and give you the option to cancel or change your order. If payment is by cheque it can take up to 5 working days or longer to clear the cheque and despatch the goods. Your order will be sent to you as soon as we have recieved nd verified payment.

If you discover you have made a mistake with your order please contact us immediately by email sales@personalcomposer.co.uk stating your order number name and the Invoice/Billing address postcode.

Prices
Prices are checked regularly however if we find the price has changed when we receive your order we will contact you and ask if you wish to proceed.

All prices on our website are in GBP pounds sterling and inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing your order.

Due to exchange rate variations and fluctuations, when other currencies are shown these are for information and are an approximation in that currency.
We currently debit payment in GBP pounds sterling only.

Payment methods
We accept a wide range of payment methods: credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), debit cards (Switch, Delta, Solo), personal cheques, postal orders and bankers drafts. All payment must be made in UK pounds sterling and cheques must be in UK pounds sterling drawn on a UK bank.
Credit card transactions will apear as Colliery Road and cheques should be made payable to Colliery Road - All cheques will be cleared before goods are shipped.

Payment of Refunds
If you originally paid for you order by Debit or Credit card then we will refund payment to the same card you used to pay for your order - if you paid by cheque or by postal order, you will recieve a cheque made payable to the person at the Invoice/Billing address.

Products
All drawings, pictures, graphics, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. However, if you buy goods, which have an unsuitable specification which was not apparent from our website, we will accept the return of the goods if in new condition with all original packaging and documentation and refund any money paid for the goods.

System requirements
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure, prior to purchase, that enough resources are available on the host machine.

Estimated Delivey Times (from day of despatch)

Delivery times are subject to availablity and are based on the published schedules of our couriers. These are best estimates and therefore should not be taken as any form of guarantee.

We aim to deliver goods to you within the time indicated by us but we cannot give an exact delivery date. Due to weight restrictions or other factors - we may choose to deliver the goods in several consignments but will not charge any extra delivery for this.

Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. As soon as we have delivered the goods you will be responsible for them. If you delay accepting a delivery, our responsibility for everything other than damage due to our negligence will end on the date the carrier tried to deliver the goods to you

All delivery times are measured in Business days, meaning Monday to Friday.

Damaged or defective goods
You should inspect the goods when you receive them for defects or damage. If you find a defect or damage you must tell us within 7 days and we will advise you how about their return to us or the manufacturer. If the goods returned under this clause are found not to be defective or damaged then an administration fee of 10% of the price of the goods along with the cost of carriage will be charged to you. If charged, the administration fee will be deducted from any refunds payable to you.

NOTE Where outer packaging is clearly damaged in transit please ensure that if you accept the delivery you sign DAMAGED CONSIGNMENT. You may also choose to refuse to take delivery of the package, in this case once we recieve the package and have checked it, we will send a replacement within the next 2 working days, subject to stock and availability.

Business customers
If you are a business or if the goods are used wholly or in part for business purposes we shall not be liable to you for any business loss including loss of profits (whether direct or indirect) business data, revenue, goodwill, or incidental, or consequential loss that you may suffer as a result of the purchase of goods from us. Any other liability shall be limited to the price paid for the goods. For our performance, time is not of the essence. You will not export any goods purchased from us in contravention of any relevant export controls.

If your business has a credit account with us payment is due 30 days after the date of our invoice and we may charge interest for late payment calculated daily at 4% above Barclays Bank base rate.

Other information
English law shall govern any contract between you and us and the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. All dealings, correspondence and contacts between us shall be made or conducted in the English language.

Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions.

Your right to cancel
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

If you are a consumer (and not a business), under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the contract for the purchase of any items within 7 days of delivery. This applies to all of our products. However, this does not include software or recordable media (such as CD-R and CD-RW Discs) where the item has been opened or unsealed.

If you have accepted delivery of the goods or someone has accepted delivery on your behalve - To cancel this contract, please write on the delivery note that accompanies your item/s, "CONTRACT CANCELLATION". Please package the relevant item/s securely and send it/them to us with the delivery note so that we receive it within 10 working days of the date that the item was delivered to you.

For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is found to be faulty. If we do not receive the item back from you with the delivery note, we may arrange for collection of the item from you at your cost - this cost will be deducted from any refund of payment. You should be aware that, once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example, shipping or postage and packing ). We would remind you that once you have notified us of your desire to cancel the contract there is a legal requirement for you to take good care of the goods.

We will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for the cancelled item(s) within 14 days of us receiving your cancellation.

We advise you to print and keep safe a copy of these Terms and Conditions.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
